ninepointedstar – medallions

ninepointedstar – medallions

I found a medallion today in the parking lot by Blue Mountain Foods.  Apparently someone has glued them to sidewalks outside of libraries and small businesses throughout America.  Only 29 have been discovered.  No one claims that they placed the medallions.  Weird.  The one I found was not glued down at all.  Here is where I found it.  http://goo.gl/maps/ru63o

Someone you know ill? Watch what you say, and to whom - latimes.com

Someone you know ill? Watch what you say, and to whom - latimes.com

My cousin's wife is fighting cancer.  He shared this.  The person in crisis is in the center.  The person they are most connected to in the first ring.   Now draw a larger circle around the first one. In that ring put the name of the person next closest to the trauma. Repeat the process as many times as you need to. In each larger ring put the next closest people.

If you need to complain or offer advice give it to someone in a circle larger than yours.  Only comfort goes to those in circles smaller than yours.

What Type of Hair Brush Should I Use for Healthy Hair?

So from this article I learned that a boar bristle hair brush will pull oil and dirt from my hair.  Because the brush has the oil and dirt on it, it needs shampooed daily. It would be best to have 2 brushes to allow time for the brush to dry after being washed.  Also, the boar brush has rounded tips which will be gentle on the scalp and stimulate blood to come to the hair follicles.

FreeShipping.com - SCAM or Deal?

FreeShipping.com - SCAM or Deal?  Not a good deal.

PROBLEM #2 – “Free Trial Membership”. FreeShipping.com has a big promotion for it’s “free trial membership” which leads you to believe that for 30 days straight you will have full access to 100% of the membership benefits without being charged a penny. The TRUTH is that while you do have “access” to the membership benefits during the 30 day period, you are unable to “qualify” for any rebates. If you do not extend your free 30-day trial to a full membership and pay the yearly membership fee, your shipping costs accumulated during the free trial are invalid for rebates; meaning you can use the program as much as you’d like but unless you pay the $80 you won’t get a penny back!
